Finely fringed in bright yellow petals, these sunny ray flowers bloom heavily on strong, tall stalks — a great back of the border plant. Prefers moist, rich, soils in part shade to full sun. Native to the Himalayas.

In our garden, this plant has been surprisingly drought-tolerant in full sun.

Mature size: 3 feet tall and spreading; will colonize widely if happy and allowed.

Minimum temperature: -20° F
