Hamamelis x intermedia 'Jelena' (syn. 'Copper Beauty'), Witch Hazel

Narrow, crinkled flower petals of orange and yellow on bare stems illuminate the late winter garden. Position to catch the low winter sun, and place where you'll see it and smell its light fragrance in winter—near a driveway, walk, or window. Deciduous, vase-shaped, slow-growing shrub with orange and red fall color.

In certain conditions, 'Jelena' blooms yellow in the fall before blooming again in the winter with its usual orange.

Mature size: 8–15 ft H x 8–12 ft W.
